Associate Membership (100,000 Ugx)

Are you an individual with interest to become a professional tourist guide? Begin your path as an associate member of USAGA.

Requirements

  • You must have finished and attained Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) as minimum level of education
  • You must create a profile on the tourist guides portal
  • You are required fill in a bio data form offered by the association
  • Pay associate membership fees of UGX 100,000

BECOME AN ASSOCIATE MEMBER

Full membership for our qualified tourist guides (200,000Ugx)

This membership plan applies to those who have trained with USAGA and have qualified as professional tourist guides. It can also apply to any tourist guide provided that they pass the tourist guide assessment offered by Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT)

Requirements

  • You must have finished and successfully completed at least one training with USAGA or else present assessment pass/ certificate from DIT.
  • You are required fill in a bio data form offered by the association if you have not done so.
  • You must create a profile on the tourist guides portal
  • You are required to have a valid Identity card and uniform from the association
  • You are required to pay annual membership fees of UGX 100,000

Corporate Membership

Any organization/ business in the tourism value chain that wishes to support or do business with the USAGA can subscribe as a corporate member

Requirements

  • Should be fully incorporated. (Registered and recognized company) with a good record and
  • Should fill in corporate membership form
  • Should pay annual corporate membership fee of 150$ (one hundred and fifty United States dollars only).

Benefits

  • Certificate of Corporate Membership valid for one year.
  • Profiling your company on the online tourist guides portal, USAGA website and other social media platforms for visibility and marketing. (A registration link will be sent to you to register on the above platforms). You will be able to create an account and add; a brief about your organization, a directory link to your website, your contact information and contact person.
  • Subsidized costs for your members to train as guides, assessors and trainers of tourist guides.
  • Access to our knowledgeable and professional tourist guides for business.
  • Invitation to participate in USAGA events like conferences, workshops, firm trips etc.
  • Marketing and promotion of your business through the wide network of our members, as well as providing you with an exhibition space for your business during public events organized by USAGA.
